About the service
The beautiful 3-year-old modern centre caters to more than 170 children at full occupancy and strongly focuses on inclusion. The purpose-built centre has a generous amount of space for children to roam and explore, and features six large rooms and age-appropriate outdoor play areas (with cubby houses, real sandpits, and little gardens).
There is a low staff turnover, as all staff, from Cert III Educators to leadership. Staff are paid above award and constantly recognised/supported for their efforts and impact on childrens development.
As an ECT you will work in the Kindy room, delivering an accredited kindergarten program. These programs are specifically created for four to five-year-olds and will enable them to work independently and with their friends as they prepare for primary school. There are 28 children in the group with two other ECT's in addition to the one we are recruiting for.
About you:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (Recognised by ACECQA)
- Teacher Registration (desirable), but happy to consider recent graduates
- Passion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards making an impact on childrens development
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis certification and valid Blue Card
- Enjoy co-collaborating, developing and maintaining open relationships with parents and fellow Educators
- Excellent communication, planning and time management skills
