Essential Criteria

• An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education.
• Demonstrated experience as a classroom practitioner
• Qualified to teach Stage 6 English and capacity to teach Extension courses is an advantage.
• Appropriate qualifications.
• A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support.
• An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge.
• An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
• An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
• Willingness to participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College.
• Willingness to contribute to the KLA team in their understanding of relevant curriculum and its application to the College.
• Willingness to take on co-curricular activities.
• Capacity to teach Religious Education (RE) is an advantage.
• (Category D, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
• NSW Working with Children Check
• NSW NESA Accreditation
