POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join their Operations Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of products and services. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, de-consolidating containers, assisting in factory operations, labelling and converting merchandise samples, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR

Deliver all products and services accurately, on time, and in full-achieving a delivery success rate greater than 96%, with a target of 99% for order processing accuracy and timeliness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick and pack orders in line with delivery terms for various product categories.
  • Accurately manage and record stock movements using inventory and transport management software.
  • Book transport and process consignment notes for daily dispatches.
  • Assist with stock and inventory management, including merchandise and samples.
  • Check incoming deliveries and unpack shipping containers.
  • Support production of merchandise items, including the use of hand tools and larger equipment (e.g., pad printers).
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong customer focus, aiming to exceed expectations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Mandatory:

Current Police Clearance Certificate

Essentials:

Valid forklift licence with experience of operating both counterbalance and high-reach forklift trucks.

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment.
  • Basic computer skills (CRM, ERP, and logistics software training provided).
  • Strong decision-making and commercial awareness.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and assist in training new staff.
