Role Description

This is initially a casual role transitioning to full-time based on performance, based in Gladstone, QLD for a Sample Prepper. The Sample Prepper will be responsible for the preparation of samples for analysis, which includes tasks such as crushing, pulverizing, and sieving samples. The role also involves maintaining equipment, ensuring the cleanliness of the work area, and accurately recording data. Adhering to quality and safety standards is critical in this role to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.

Qualifications

• Experience with sample preparation, including crushing, pulverizing, and sieving
• Reliable and punctual is key in a small team environment
• Knowledge of sample prep equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards in a laboratory setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and handle laboratory equipment
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
