Project Geologist

Hiring: Project Geologist – Spring Hill Project (NT)

PCGOLD Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated geologist to join our team at the Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–4 years of experience to step into a project-level role with real responsibility and strong mentorship.

We're offering a 6-month contract (with potential to extend or convert to a permanent role) where you'll gain exposure across exploration, drilling, mapping, and resource geology. You'll be working alongside senior geologists who are committed to your development.

What You'll Do

· Supervise RC and diamond drilling activities

· Log RC chips and oriented diamond core (geological + geotechnical)

· Map prospects and collect soil/rock-chip samples

· Support data management and daily reporting

· Work to uphold our strong site safety culture

About Spring Hill

· Location: 250 km south of Darwin, NT (near Pine Creek)

· Resource: 0.8 Moz @ 1 g/t Au (JORC 2012)

· Status: Fully permitted open-pit oxide operation

· Ore processed at Union Reefs Mill

· Exploration Target: 1–2 Moz Au

You'll Need

· Geology degree (BSc or equivalent)

· 1+ years' experience in exploration or mining

· Manual driver's licence (Australia)

· Independent, adaptable, and team-oriented

· Based in the NT, or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

· Experience with RC and/or diamond logging

· Field mapping and sampling experience

· Familiarity with MapInfo or Datamine

Logistics & Location

Spring Hill is a drive-in field site located off the Stuart Highway. Roster and accommodation details will be shared during the hiring process.
