Role Overview
As a HST Advisor (Training), you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of the mine's training programs and assisting the HST Superintendent in the application of site training systems, record management and training and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in national training and qualification frameworks, occupational licences, and registered training organisations to support workforce development.
- Ensure compliance with the site Training Scheme and the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) to maintain high operational standards.
- Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline training delivery.
- Provide practical training advice, guidance, and coaching to operational teams to enhance performance and skills.
- Develop, review, and implement assessments and tailored training plans to support staff growth and development.
- Facilitate safety interactions, lead training initiatives, and contribute to reviews of industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Qualifications relevant to Training and Assessment
- Proven track record in Training and Assessment across various departments in mining.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with building e-learning activities and courses for the LMS
- Demonstrate good time management skills and have a strong work ethic
