Permanent and temporary radiographer positions are currently available in addition to casual positions to join the imaging team at Sutherland Hospital Medical Imaging. The department has a full range of imaging modalities including general, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, angiography, CT, MRI and ultrasound. Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the 24/7 and on call roster. Priority will be given to experienced team members with expertise in hospital imaging and CT scanning however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Where you'll be working
Sutherland Hospital is located within the Sutherland Shire close to beaches, cafes, transport and shopping centres. The department performs over 75,000 examinations per year and offers training opportunities into advanced modality areas. It is a small dedicated team who work collaboratively providing imaging services to our ED, inpatients and outpatients.

To perform medical imaging procedures and be responsible for the production and accurate archiving of diagnostic images under the direction of radiologists and department managers;

Selection Criteria:
- Hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent
- Hold a NSW EPA Radiation Licence to operate radiation apparatus and registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability and experience to perform radiographic examinations in a wide range of modality areas including general, theatre, mobiles
- Willingness to participate in a rotating 24/7 roster and on call as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with experience or knowledge in utilising health related computer applications
- Ability to work with a team and independently with the ability to organise workload to facilitate high patient throughput
- A knowledge of WHS and radiation protection practices
- Proven ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
