About the Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a small team across logistics, warehouse, and dispatch operations. You will work closely with production, planning, and transport partners to ensure efficient movement of goods—on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound raw materials, outbound finished goods, and third-party freight coordination.
· Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance standards are met.
· Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock movements in line with production schedules.
· Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint, and transport legislation.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with transport providers and internal stakeholders.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse and logistics operations.
· Monitor logistics KPIs, analyse trends, and recommend process enhancements.
Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Conduct regular safety checks of warehouse areas and address any identified hazards.
· Promote a culture of safety within the team.
· Strong Understanding of our manufacturing process and quality control.
About You:
· Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or transport leadership role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
· Strong knowledge of CoR, safe loading practices, and transport regulations.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Team focused mindset.
· Current forklift licence and supervisory experience preferred.
· A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a passion for operational excellence.
