About your opportunity

The Registered Midwife for Maternal Fetal Medicine provides antenatal assessment, advice, and education to women and families with complex needs. The role supports coordinated care within multidisciplinary teams, assists with screening and therapeutic procedures, and delivers follow-up care and support after pregnancy loss, including termination of pregnancy.

  • Salary range: $41.73 to $53.53 p.h. (NG5)
  • 5 weeks (pro rata) annual leave

  • Locality & uniform allowance
  • **Please note - for dual qualified Registered Nurse/Midwifery candidates you will be eligible for a qualification allowance**
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Midwifery/ Diploma of Midwifery or equivalent qualification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • Highly Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the position or working towards a relevant qualification.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
