Full-Time Dental Assistant - Bundaberg - Join Our Growing Team at Smiling Wide Orthodontics

Hours & Location

  • 3 days per week: 7:30am – 5:30pm
  • 1 day per week: 7am – 7pm (These hours include paid travel time)

This role is based in Bundaberg, you'll also need to travel to our Maryborough and Hervey Bay practices once a week, alternating between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The best part? You'll travel with the team. We carpool and enjoy a few laughs along the way. Meals and a travel allowance are provided on these days.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing high-quality chairside assistance to our Orthodontist and OHT's.
  • Delivering exceptional care and support to patients.
  • Helping coordinate daily clinic operations and flow.
  • Assisting with stock management and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics.
  • Contributing to admin tasks where needed.
  • Embracing professional development opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical providers and receptionists regarding individual patient needs.
  • Take patient records including photos and 3D impressions.

About You:

  • Previous experience in dental or orthodontics - preferred but not essential.
  • Transferrable skills from veterinary nursing or other fields.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Show us you have an eye for detail. In your cover letter answer "What has to be broken before you can use it?"
  • A positive, can-do attitude and genuine team spirit.
  • Australian or New Zealand Citizenship (required).
