As we continue to expand our business and operations, we are seeking driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented Project Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's properties and assets, overseeing project execution, sourcing new opportunities, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and the capability to maintain company assets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Property Development & Feasibility
- Source and assess new development sites and property opportunities.
- Undertake feasibility studies, including market research, cost analysis, site assessments, and planning constraints.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for executive review.
Project Development – End-to-End Delivery
- Manage new projects from initial concept to completion.
- Oversee design, approvals, construction, and handover.
- Prepare project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Monitor milestones, report progress, and manage variations and risks.
- Ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality expectations.
- Act as the single point of contact across all internal and external stakeholders.
Contractor & Consultant Coordination
- Engage and manage third-party consultants, town planners, certifiers, and contractors.
- Ensure all deliverables, documentation, and deadlines are met.
- Manage site meetings, approvals, and project documentation.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure all projects meet planning approvals, building codes, and compliance standards.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain WHS compliance across all development activity.
Reporting & Budget Support
- Track project budgets, assist in financial forecasting and reporting.
- Support contract negotiations and cost control measures.
- Prepare project summaries and updates for executive team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Project Management, Property, Construction, or related field.
- 2–3 years' experience in development or construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of feasibility, design, construction, and delivery stages.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Confident working independently across multiple projects.
