Groups and Events Manager

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Moving Story Entertainment Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

This primary focus of this role is to take ownership of the planning, operation and logistics of all group events. This will see you liaising closely with site managers and their teams to ensure our client's needs are met and exceed from brief to delivery of the event.

As a key player in this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer calls and emails, ensuring customers are always prioritised
  • Liaising with our Programming Manager to ensure groups are accommodated in the cinema program
  • Knowledge of our package types, including fundraisers, high end corporate events, small casual events, birthday party packs, school holiday bookings, distribution bookings and social groups
  • Knowledge of our site; including food and beverage, cinema sizes, accessibility and specifics relating to foyer size
  • Running events as required, ensuring responsibility for technical aspects. These events may fall outside of office hours
  • Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of film product and the ability to promote suitable content to specific groups

  • A stylish and organized approach to work, with a drive to continually improve
