About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior Estimator to join our growing estimating department.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing accurate and detailed tenders, estimates and full scope of works on time to maximize contract awards
• Advising on alternative products/price options to meet client budget requirements
• Offering precise cost estimates and cost planning advice for the full scope of works as per client requests
• Use On-Center or Build soft Take Off (Training can be provided)
• Liaising with Clients and Suppliers daily
• Working with clients and ensuring regular project quote progress updates
• Full training provided by our estimators
• Negotiable salary depending on experience

Requirements:

• Estimating experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Understanding of materials and construction techniques (preferred)
• Sound cost planning skills and up-to-date knowledge of current market rates
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to problem-solve confidently, complete detailed, accurate take-offs, and manage multiple projects and varied client requirements
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are crucial for this role.
• Right to work in Australia
