Mike Carney Toyota and 4WDC are looking for three motivated and reliable Store persons to join our high-performing team in Townsville. Whether you're experienced in warehousing or keen to bring your organisation and problem-solving skills into the automotive industry, this is your chance to be part of a well-respected dealership with a strong focus on team culture and career growth.

About the Role

As a Store Person, you'll play a vital role in keeping our parts department running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately identifying and locating automotive parts
  • Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming stock
  • Picking and invoicing orders for internal and external customers
  • Monitoring back orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Managing freight, returns, and stock control systems
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised
  • Assisting with regular stocktakes
  • Supporting the team with various warehouse duties as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or stores environment
  • Basic computer skills (inventory and ordering systems)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive mindset with a team-first attitude
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks

Desirable But Not Essential

  • Forklift licence
  • Warehousing qualifications
  • Automotive industry knowledge or interest
