Electrical Tradesperson

CS GAS is a specialist supplier of well optimisation, production process control (SCADA) systems and a provider of gas field services. Our organisation has a multidiscipline engineering focus with operations that include mechanical assembly, electrical, instrumentation and industrial control systems.

We're looking for a qualified Electrician to join our electrical team. Ideally, you'll have experience working in Hazardous Areas or be willing to complete the required training. In the initial phase you will be based at our Yatala/Stapylton site, supporting the manufacture and installation of industrial electrical systems.

You will be required to work a standard 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday) whilst on site. Overtime is depended on project demands.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high standard of quality, safety awareness, and communication, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

Applicants who possess the following will be considered

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence Qld
• Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas or willing to undertake training
• Construction White Card
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Previous electrical experience in industrial sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to comply with the CS GAS and common industry "Fitness for Work" policies

Desirable

• Dual Trade - Instrumentation experience
• Leadership Experience
• Current high risk work forklift licence (LF)
• Experience working within an environment of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems
