Role Description/Criteria

The Numeracy Leader will be a leader who enhances the culture of the school through clear communication and positive relationships.
The Maths Intervention Specialist will lead and establish protocols in order to provide an effective Maths Intervention program throughout the school.
The successful candidate will lead in partnership with the Principal and School Improvement Team to fulfill the vision of the school. As a leader in our school, the Numeracy Leader develops respectful, collaborative relationships through engaged and purposeful learning that contributes to confident, risk-taking, and reflective learners who strive for excellence.
This is an ongoing position; the Numeracy Leader role will be offered as a contracted position in line with the two-yearly POL application process. The time fraction allocated to this position can be negotiated.
This position requires the successful candidate to be a member of St Michael's School Improvement Team.

Special Requirement
- hold current VIT registration
- accreditation to teach Religious Education
- recent experience and success in a leadership role
- a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
- post-graduate qualifications are desirable
