Metal Polisher

Whitlock Bull Bars has been manufacturing premium aluminium bars for over 15 years. We supply market-leading brands including Kenworth, Mack, Mercedes, Scania, and DAF etc. Our focus is quality, safety and delivering great results for customers.

The core of this role is metal polishing. You will polish and detail aluminium bull bars to a high, consistent finish, complete accessory fit-ups and prepare products for dispatch so every bar leaves the factory in excellent condition.

• Work to the workshop schedule and sequence jobs in the correct dispatch order.
• Polish and detail aluminium bars to a bright, uniform finish using powered hand tools and compounds.
  
  (7 inch sander, barrel grinder, buff and soft mop)
• Remove weld discolouration and surface marks using abrasives and compounds, protecting adjacent finished surfaces.
• Clean and prep with aluminium-safe degreasers, then final wipe before QA.
• Fit genuine and aftermarket lights and accessories to specification.
• Verify fasteners, mount plate fit, opening angles and eyebolt positions.
• Pack products for transport and attach required paperwork.
• Complete job cards and maintain tidy, safe work areas.

• Proven attention to detail and safe work habits.
• Confidence with powered hand tools and metal polishing processes.
• Good communication, teamwork and reliability.
• Physically fit and able to meet deadlines.
• Current driver's licence preferred.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
