About the Role

DemoEx is seeking experienced Demolition and Strip-Out Labourers to join our growing team in Wollongong, NSW. This hands-on role involves working on a variety of residential and commercial demolition projects. After a probation period, full-time employment may be offered to suitable candidates.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Carefully removing fixtures, fittings, and building materials during strip-outs
  • Operating demolition tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Sorting and separating waste for recycling and disposal
  • Keeping work areas clean and organised
  • Following all site safety procedures
  • Assisting the broader team with general demolition tasks

What We're Looking For
  • Previous demolition or strip-out labouring experience
  • Minimum 6-12 months of demolition or strip-out experience required
  • Physically fit with solid manual handling skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • Strong commitment to safety and site protocols
  • Construction industry experience and valid White Card
  • Minimum 1+ years of construction industry experience required
  • Must have a current Driver's Licence – applicants without a licence will not be considered

  • Highly regarded (but not essential):

  • Asbestos Removal Licence

  • Demolition Worker's Ticket
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • MR or HR Driver's Licence
  • Must have Australian work rights
