We are currently on the hunt for an experienced motor mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment remains operational by inspecting and testing vehicles, performing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements.
  • Maintain vehicle functionality by addressing operator concerns, conducting inspections, diagnosing and repairing engine failures, mechanical and electrical issues, replacing components, and repairing body damage.
  • Verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and necessary system adjustments.
  • Adhere to state regulations by testing engines, safety features, and combustion control standards.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain shop equipment by following operational guidelines, troubleshooting breakdowns, ensuring adequate supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and arranging for necessary repairs.
  • Manage costs by utilizing warranties and evaluating service and parts options effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum Cert 3 in Vehicle Mechanical Technology but preference will be given to those having higher relevant education.
  • Experience as Motor Mechanic for minimum 1 year mandatory. s
  • A deep understanding of automotive technology and upcoming trends.
  • Have a strong emphasis on quality, speed of service, and organisation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
