Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.
Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our English|Humanities team at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our Secondary Teachers are committed and contribute to the shaping of curriculum, pedagogy and pathways that enable students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. They are outstanding educators who develop academic curriculum for diverse pathways that will result in students achieving academic success. They are enthusiastic in their participation in the broader activities of the school, in achieving its vision for outstanding educational experiences that nurture a love of learning.

The ideal candidate should have experience teaching and a deep understanding of English and Humanities as a curriculum area. You should have demonstrated experience and ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing, establishing, implementing, and monitoring learning and curriculum. It is ideal if you love the curriculum area that you will teach.
Willingness and experience teaching in other subjects is favourable but not required in this position. What We Offer:
Permanent full-time position
Competitive remuneration package including 6 weeks annual leave
Salary range: $90,828 to $130,258 gross per annum
