Position Overview:

We are seeking Diploma Qualified Lead Educators in around the Canberra region seeking a new permanent opportunity

The ideal candidates will have experience working in a long daycare environment with full time working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and individual children's interests.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and document children's progress and development.
  • Promote health and wellbeing practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and safety.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a long daycare setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
