Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Sydney or Canberra working with Karwan Eskerie, Mia Donald, and Alanna Lucchese.
About the team and the work

As one of a group of Legal Assistant's supporting the team, your key responsibilities will include:
- File management across a busy litigation practice including the opening and closing of matters.
- Complex billing for Government clients.
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents including online filing and service.
- Client reporting and compliance.
- Diary and inbox management.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
We are open to all levels of candidates from entry-level to experienced legal administrators. The role is permanent full-time position working 5 days per week and will suit a career administrator looking for a diverse and challenging range of work in a supportive team.
About you
- Prior administration experience and interest in law.
- Experience working in a law firm litigation practice supporting multiple fee-earners is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience working with Government clients is highly regarded.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
