The Role
We are looking for a Queensland-based Full Stack developer to join our Estate team, building innovative software solutions for wills, probate, and estate administration. In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented team to create cutting-edge cloud-based platforms, integrate existing products into seamless workflows, and develop new tools tailored for legal professionals. Join us, as we streamline legal workflows and re-shape the future of Estate Law in Australia.
About you
You're a developer who takes pride in writing clean, high-quality code and delivering solutions that stand up to strong engineering standards. You welcome feedback and see it as an opportunity to grow, while also supporting the development of those around you. You take initiative, own your work end-to-end, and continuously explore emerging technologies and coding trends to elevate your craft. Naturally curious and forward-thinking, you actively experiment with agentic AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to scaffold tests, refactor, document, review and automate routine tasks, always seeking smarter and more efficient ways to build.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within the team to design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions
- Contribute to and co-own technical specifications, designs, and project schedules
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliver cohesive solutions
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues, and propose innovative solutions
- Refactor and improve codebases for performance and maintainability
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, React, and SQL
- Experience in full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end frameworks and ecosystems
- Familiarity with software practices such as event-driven architecture, SOLID principles, and test-driven development.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills to solve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate trade-offs between effort and impact
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience with enterprise-grade systems or SaaS platforms
- A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm to participate in pair programming, code reviews, and team discussions
