Trainee/ TA Rubber Liner

This is NOT a FIFO role. You will be required to travel to mine sites within the Goldfields area and be away from home for up to a week at a time.

We are looking for a trainee Rubber Liner ideally between 18-25 years old but encourage all ages to apply.

Hourly rate is negotiable and determined by age and experience.

Position Description:

• Hours include but not limited to Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm in our workshop & some weekend and site work when required.

• Training will be provided

• Tasks will include but are not limited to, workshop work of cold rubber lining of various components, ceramic tiling, on site shutdown rubber lining, working on customer sites, responding to any breakdown on customer sites as required, equipment and shutdown preparation and actively learning and developing new skills in rubber lining.

• Operating forklift and driving work vehicles for deliveries and to site when required.

What you will need:

• No experience in the industry is required, however a go-getter attitude and enthusiasm to learn is required.

• Strong mechanical mind and experience using general hand tools and power tools.

• Enjoy working hands-on in a physically demanding environment.

• Intermediate mathematical skills, with the ability to perform measurements accurately.

• Current C-class Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle

• Forklift licence, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces (or willingness to obtain)

• Be able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing

• National Police Clearance
