Description:

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Sydney-based team and take charge of a technically complex construction project with offshore deployment. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead the delivery of a major commercial construction project for a high-value Federal Government client - coordinating offsite modular builds, on-site construction and services integration, and logistics.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan and mobilise: Lead development of delivery strategies, construction programs and site readiness to hit key project milestones.
  • Control the program: Manage day-to-day project delivery, subcontractor coordination, procurement sequencing and site activity.
  • Keep us compliant: Ensure WHS, quality, and legal standards are upheld at all times.
  • Drive commercial outcomes: Track and manage scope, budgets, variations, and contract performance (both upstream and downstream).
  • Manage stakeholders: Engage confidently with clients, consultants and authorities throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Lead the team: Coordinate closely with delivery, logistics and engineering teams to keep performance on track.
  • Close it out: Manage defect resolution, documentation, and final approvals - and bring key lessons into our next project.

Skills and Experiences:

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years' experience managing commercial construction projects end-to-end.
  • Solid understanding of Australian construction contracts - AS 4000, AS 2124, GC21.
  • Proficient in tools such as Procore, Jobpac, Aconex and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; Trade background highly regarded.
  • Ability to travel overseas for extended periods.
