The Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) drives CommBank's data, analytics, and AI transformation — shaping how we work, think, and deliver for customers and colleagues.
As part of the CDAO Transformation and Change Centre of Excellence (CoE), this role reports to the CoE Lead and partners with a passionate team of change and communications professionals.
We're looking for a strategic leader with exceptional transformational change capability — skilled at driving large-scale, strategic transformation rather than incremental or BAU change, and who brings a transformational mindset focused on enabling lasting shifts in how people think, work, and collaborate.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how change happens across data, AI, and analytics — building the capability and confidence of our people while delivering sustainable transformation outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead and support the Change Enablement Chapter, fostering capability growth, engagement, and delivery excellence.
Understand and manage the people-related benefits and risks of change initiatives.
Guide the design, planning, and execution of integrated change strategies that manage people impacts effectively.
Oversee transition and adoption through communications, coaching, training, and reinforcement programs.
Partner with stakeholders to craft compelling, clear, and consistent messaging.
Measure and report on change effectiveness through governance, metrics, and insights.
Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to a team of change practitioners.
Establish consistent ways of working aligned with CoE standards and practices.
Collaborate across the Transformation and Change CoE to nurture a culture of performance, support, and shared purpose.

Have proven experience leading data and AI transformation programs and projects.
Are strategic leaders with exceptional transformational change capability, able to distinguish true transformation from BAU change.
Excel in orchestrating complex transformation — uniting technology, data, and people to drive enduring business and cultural shifts.
Understand the people and business drivers of technology-enabled change.
Are customer and stakeholder focused, with strong influencing and communication skills.
Thrive in moving fluidly between strategy, execution, and people leadership.
Have a proven track record in team leadership, risk management, and large-scale change delivery.
Bring an Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments.
