About the Company:

Talent Focus Recruitment have partnered with a leading manufacturer in Wagga Wagga who design, and manufacture concrete railway sleepers. With 4 key factories across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, our client has a significant focus on people, innovation, research and development and safety to ensure client needs are exceeded.

About the Role:

Within this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of concrete sleepers including:

  • Preparing of concrete moulds (cleaning, scraping, and applying lubricants as required)
  • Set up of moulding equipment (including use of hand tools)
  • Machine operation as required
  • Performing tests to ensure quality assurance and control processes are met
  • Forklift operation (if licensed)

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with hand and power tools highly regarded but not required
  • A high regard for health and safety
  • Ability to pass through pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Forklift desirable, but not required
