Our client is an established Australian insurance underwriting agency with over 25 years of industry experience is seeking a full-time Claims Consultant to join its team in Trinity Gardens. This organisation specialises in exclusive claims management and tailored risk placement solutions for farm, commercial motor , and retail insurance portfolios.​​

Role Overview

  • Full-time position, 8:30am–5pm, office-based.​
  • Join a professional claims team of 10, reporting to the Claims Manager.​
  • Manage a diverse portfolio, primarily farm and commercial motor insurance claims, as well as other general insurance lines.​​

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent level of customer service throughout the claim lifecycle.​​
  • Manage multiple claims, updating brokers and customers at every stage.​​
  • Communicate effectively with repairers, assessors, and internal stakeholders.​​
  • Review and process claims—including assessing loss, determining appropriate settlements, and ensuring compliance with policy and current legislation.​​
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external contacts, including insurance brokers.​​
  • Have quality conversations to explain the claims process, outcomes, and support steps.​​

You Will Bring

  • Previous claims experience in general insurance (essential), ideally from an agency, broker, or insurer environment.​​
  • Outstanding communication skills, with compassion, integrity, and attention to detail.​​
  • Proficient computer skills, including email writing and data accuracy.​​
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain flexible, and thrive in a changing environment.​​
  • Resilience and a positive team player attitude with empathy and respect for colleagues and clients.​​

Additional Requirements

  • Permanent work rights with no restrictions in Australia.​
  • Police check, ASIC banned or disqualified check, and insolvency check will be required if selected.​
