Job Description

• Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including on-boarding and induction programs.
• Step up and lead the team as 2IC when the HR Manager is away.
• Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.
• Coordinate and deliver training and development initiatives for staff.
• Guide performance, conduct, and grievance processes.
• Ensure compliance with workplace laws and internal policies.
• Manage apprentices and trainees in partnership with managers and training providers
• Coordinate visa processing and seasonal workforce programs
• Support well being initiatives and team events

The Successful Applicant

• Relevant qualifications in human resources or at least 3 years of hands on experience.
• Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience in a high-end hospitality or resort setting is highly regarded.
• Comfortable having tough conversations and managing ER issues
• Personable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment
• Knowledge of Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Privacy and Training.
• Ready to relocate and embrace the lifestyle.
• Current driver's license.
