Human Resources Officer

As a our Human Resources Officer at Sundale, within the People Safety Learning and Culture team, you will play a vital role in supporting the administration of HR functions and services. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a broad understanding and knowledge across Human Resource fundamentals, specifically payroll and recruitment.

Key accountabilities

Payroll

• Assist the Payroll Team Leader and Senior Payroll Officer with day to day payroll requirements.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
• Provide support with end to end processing of the fortnightly and ad hoc payroll.
• Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries.
• Administration of employee records.

Recruitment

• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding activities of new team members.
• Administration of the recruitment and onboarding system.
• Act as a point of contact to liaise with candidates and managers.
• Support the implementation of attraction and retention initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail with experience working as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

• Police Check
• Pre-employment medical assessment

Qualifications / Knowledge and experience

• Previous experience working in a Human Resources function supporting payroll and recruitment activities, other similar administrative activities, or the desire to progress a career in this field
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or in the process of attaining is desirable but not essential
