Process Engineer
to drive continuous improvement and deliver real results across our Somersby manufacturing site.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take the lead on
World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects
that lift efficiency, reduce waste, and unlock new value. This is a hands-on role where you'll balance small - large-scale
capex projects
with site-wide improvement initiatives.

Key Focus Areas Include

  • Projects: Leading capex and site-based improvement initiatives
  • WCM & KPIs: Driving cost savings, reliability improvements, and embedding lean methodologies across operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead process improvement projects end-to-end, from assessment through to delivery.
  • Partner with operations, production, maintenance, procurement, and head office stakeholders to analysis and improve reliability with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Track and report KPIs, ensuring improvements are sustainable and scalable across the business.
  • Apply data-driven analysis to identify bottlenecks and prioritise solutions.
  • Champion training and capability uplift in Lean/WCM practices across site teams.

About You
You're an
engineer with manufacturing or heavy industry experience
who thrives on solving problems, delivering projects, and influencing people at all levels. You'll bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
  • Experience in Lean, WCM or Continuous Improvement frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills with exposure to capex and automation projects.
  • Proven ability to interpret factory data and use it to drive decisions.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
