Job Responsibilities:

As a Butcher at Eastern Halal Butcher, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cutting meat products according to customer requirements
  • Ensuring the quality and freshness of meat through proper handling and storage techniques
  • Operating and maintaining butchery equipment and machinery
  • Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies
  • Providing exceptional customer service by offering product recommendations and answering queries
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with hygiene and safety standards

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a Butcher in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their preparation techniques
  • Excellent knife skills and the ability to handle butchery equipment safely
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
