What you'll be doing

  • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals to deliver end-to-end data solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess solution feasibility, prioritise initiatives, and drive business value.
  • Apply hands-on technical expertise to design, develop, and improve data solutions.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, security, and documentation.
  • Manage project delivery across time, budget, and resource constraints while providing regular progress updates.
  • Drive adoption of data solutions through clear communication, showcases, and business handover.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the data team.
  • Stay across emerging data and analytics trends to evolve organisational capabilities.
  • Promote strong data governance, maturity, and trustworthy data assets across teams.
  • Support data literacy and enablement by empowering business users through self-service tools and practices.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong skills in business analysis to frame the right questions and find the right answers
  • Highly developed verbal, personal and written communications skills including active listening, elicitation and presentation skills
  • Exhibits a 'can do' attitude
  • Good storytelling skills with a passion to analyse data and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority
  • Proven data project management skills
  • Extensive experience in market-leading data solution tools to manage end-to-end data life cycle including integration, storage, transformation, modelling, analysis and presentation.
  • Proficiency in HANA modelling or SAP BW
  • Proficiency in Power BI
