To succeed, we need bright minds and team players in our organization. As the Production Chemist you will be providing technical support for the manufacturing process in our sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and drive proactive and reactive programs to reduce the rate of problem batches, defects, process problems and major interventions.

  • Communication of issues and outcomes to the site Production and Technical Management Teams.

  • Ensure all changes to formulas are suitably tested, processed and documented in SAP..

  • Provide back up to Quality Supervisor and QC Lab for bench testing.

Have You Got What We're Looking For?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or related science discipline

  • Previous experience with QC testing or similar

  • Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to produce reports and documentation when required.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work closely with other people.

  • Able to work on set tasks with minimal supervision to achieve a desired outcome within an acceptable timeframe.

  • Demonstrated experience with the SAP formula management system would be an advantage.

  • Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills
