About The Role

Queensland X-Ray (QXR) is looking for full-time Radiographers to join our team and support our Cairns region practices.

This opportunity allows you to work across fully comprehensive private practices which offer services including General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, and Dentascan procedures, working in conjunction with our Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments.

You'll have exposure to a lot of variety in different modalities with the opportunity for upskilling and career progression

The operating hours are 7am to 11pm, with participation in a rotating roster and working across our Cairns practices. Opportunity for overtime including weekend and on call work.

About you

  • Current AHPRA Registration and QLD Radiation Use Licence or willing to obtain
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to make decisions and work well under pressure
  • Friendly, caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A radiographer/technologist delivering high-level medical imaging clinical services
