At Paws n Play SA Doggy Daycare and Boarding, we provide a fun, nurturing, interactive and fully supervised indoor environment for all dogs, big and small.

Our professional team take a gentle and encouraging approach to care for our canine guests, using positive reinforcement to ensure they are happy, healthy and stimulated.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, reliable and friendly Animal Attendant to join our team, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday.

You will be trained in all aspects of the role, however animal handling experience and/or relevant qualifications will be highly desirable.

Expected work hours: per week

Further details:

  • Shifts will be between the hours of 10am - 6pm (Monday - Friday)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provision of food and water for dogs in care
  • Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
  • Providing enrichment through play and scheduled activities
  • Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
  • Building and maintaining rapport with our pet owners through feedback and transparency

Key requirements:

  • Must be available to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Must be driven and have a strong work ethic as the role can be challenging and physical
  • Must be attentive and have a great attention to detail
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow routines, policies and procedures
  • Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
