As a member of the Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in providing a high level of maintenance support to ensure College grounds and facilities are presented and maintained to the highest standard.

  • Permanent position
  • Full-time or part-time hours available
  • Monday to Friday work schedule
  • Negotiable hours for the right candidate
  • Hourly base rate $ $ plus 12.75% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

About You

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A valid Queensland Working with Children Check Positive Paid Employee Notice.
  • Experience working within a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills that are necessary in order to appropriately liaise with students, staff, parents, visitors and other members of the public. These skills are required as well as the ability to work as a constructive member of a group.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated building and equipment maintenance experience highly regarded.
  • Manual Driver Licence.

It is a condition of employment that all staff members, unless otherwise eligible for an exemption, must possess a current Positive Notice or Blue Card issued under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 before commencing employment with the College. Volunteer Blue Cards will be required to be transferred to Paid Employment cards.
