Edu-Kingdom College offers a supportive, reputable, and vibrant work environment with flexible hours to cater to your study or work commitments. Our centre in Hurstville is looking for dedicated tutors for all subjects, including (but not limited to) English, Mathematics & Thinking Skills.

Your job will involve:

  • Taking small group, face-to-face classes from Primary to High School levels.
  • Teaching Opportunity, Selective, High School Certificate specialised classes.
  • Teaching private one-to-one classes.
  • Evaluating and relaying student progress directly to the office through progress reports, written feedback and/or to parents.

Please note: all classes will be taught face-to-face in our Hurstville centre. If you can not make the commute, please do not apply.

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) mandatory.
  • Australian Business Number (ABN) or willing to obtain.
  • This is a CASUAL position. You must be available after school hours (generally from 3:30 pm) and/or on Saturdays.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the NSW school curriculum.
  • Professionalism & Growth Mindset: Demonstrate a professional attitude towards learning, with a willingness to self-reflect and continuously improve your teaching methods.
  • Possess an outgoing, friendly personality, while being able to remain firm and authoritative when required.
  • Exceptional organisation, punctuality and the ability to manage large groups of students effectively.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with students and parents, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Candidates with prior teaching experience or pursuing a career in education will be highly regarded.
