Ventia's Western Power contract is growing—and so is our team. We're currently seeking experienced Lineworkers to be part of a dynamic workforce delivering essential services across WA. As a Lineworker, you'll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading the Western Power network across both metropolitan and regional WA. This hands-on role offers a mix of planned maintenance and project work, contributing to the reliability and resilience of the state's electrical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform planned distribution work including replacing poles, crossarms, transformers, and switchgear
• Support network upgrade projects such as reconductoring and transformer replacements
• Contribute to network resilience initiatives, especially in regional areas
• Work across metro and regional WA, supporting infrastructure improvements
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in all field operations

What we're looking for:
We're seeking skilled and safety-focused Lineworkers who bring experience, qualifications, and a great attitude to the team, as well as:

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (UET30619) OR equivalent
• Proven experience in electrical linework, including maintenance and upgrades
• Experience working on Western Power projects
• Cable Jointing experience and exposure – desirable
• Current driver's licence – HR highly desirable
• EWP and High Risk Work Licences – DG, LF, CV or higher

We're open to covering relocation costs for the right candidate and encourage qualified Lineworkers from interstate and New Zealand to apply.

The scope of work will include the delivery of maintenance services across Western Power's transmission, distribution network and the maintenance of large complex assets, whilst servicing customers in city centres, regional and remote communities.
