Site Supervisor – FIFO or DIDO

Symons Clark Logistics is a 150-year-old, family owned, Port Adelaide based transport and logistics company. Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Site Supervisor to join our Regional Mining Operations Team at Prominent Hill.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, this key operational role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of site-based transport activities, driver compliance, and loading operations. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with both client and company standards.

This position operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with FIFO or DIDO options available depending on your location. Accommodation and meals are provided while on site.

What you will be doing…

• Managing day-to-day truck movements and site transport activities.
• Ensuring driver compliance requirements are met, monitored, and maintained.
• Overseeing Copper Concentrate loading operations and verifying all reporting documentation.
• Supervising Loader Operators and coordinating daily loading tasks.
• Scheduling and maintaining cement stock levels.
• Monitoring on-site stock levels, flagging issues early, and escalating to the Regional Manager as required.
• Assisting drivers with incident management and contributing to investigations for on-road or Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) events.
• Providing clear, concise daily updates on stock levels, loading, and truck movements.
• Assisting with roster planning and annual leave coordination for site-based personnel.

Do you have…

• Previous supervisory or coordination experience within transport, logistics, or mining operations.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance, safety, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a remote site environment.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with both site and head office teams.
