In this branch-based role, supporting the
Singleton and Muswellbrook
region you will actively promote Greater Bank within your local community while managing the loan application process from start to finish. This includes interviewing and building rapport with clients, processing applications, assessing risk, packaging deals for credit assessment, and ensuring smooth processing. Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential to thrive in this role.

What are we looking for?

  • You'll be an experienced and highly passionate Lender who thrives on delivering high levels of customer service, with a proven track record in achieving Lending and Sales Targets.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships within the community.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accurately checking and transferring data.
  • In-depth knowledge of Retail Banking, General Insurance processes, and a strong understanding of Financial Services Legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Quick decision-making ability with a focus on timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborative team player who fosters a cooperative environment and works towards common goals.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.

What will your key responsibilities include?

  • Act as first point of contact for Home Lending enquiries, positively interacting with customers and building strong personal relationships.
  • Managing the loan application process from start to finish, including gathering documentation, assessing financials, and ensuring smooth coordination for credit assessment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain the branch's customer base with a focus on lead generation and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to boost branch performance, enhance your personal profile, and expand the business within the local market.
  • Become a recognised advocate for Greater Bank in your community, actively supporting local organisations and building strong professional relationships within the community.
  • Ask insightful questions to deliver the right lending solutions, building trust and long-term customer advocacy, while utilising your Home Loan Lending expertise to help customers achieve their financial goals.
