About The Role:
Ord Minnett is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive paraplanner to join our national paraplanning team. This role offers exposure to complex client scenarios and high-net-worth strategies, with opportunities to contribute to advice development and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with advisers and paraplanners to prepare high-quality Statements of Advice (SOAs), build financial projections, and provide strategic input. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise or explore a pathway into advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality SOAs for a range of client strategies
- Build financial projections and modelling for complex advice scenarios
- Provide technical and strategic support to advisers during advice development
- Conduct peer reviews and contribute to process improvements
- Collaborate with a national paraplanning team to support consistent advice delivery
About You:
- Minimum 1 year experience in paraplanning and SOA production (2+ years an advantage)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Financial Planning
- Progress toward Financial Adviser Education Standards (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Xplan (Risk Researcher, Wealth Solver, XTools+)
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
- Interest in strategy, technical advice, and continuous improvement
