Civil Project Engineer – FIFO (Oil & Gas, Bulk Earthworks & Structures)

Location: Northern Territory (FIFO – 3:1 roster)

Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

Start: Early October

The Role:

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join a major oil & gas project in the Northern Territory. This is a site-based role where you will oversee bulk earthworks and structures, working closely with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with HSE and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the site as the Principal Contractor in line with Execution & HSE Management Plans

  • Oversee mobilisation and onboarding of subcontractors

  • Monitor subcontractor performance against approved ITPs and QA/QC requirements

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety obligations

  • Drive delivery against project milestones

About You:

  • Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent)

  • 5–10 years' experience in civil construction, ideally in oil & gas or resources sector

  • Proven background in bulk earthworks & structures

  • Strong QA/QC, HSE, and site supervision skills

  • Full working rights in Australia
