Process Safety Manager

Mulgrave (VIC), Australia | req24776

Be the key advisor empowering teams and shaping a strong process safety culture across high-risk industrial operations.

What you will enjoy doing

  • Lead Process Hazard Analyses and Safety Assessments (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA, What-If)
  • Develop and implement safety management systems
  • Prepare and maintain Safety Cases and compliance documentation
  • Lead licensing and relicensing activities for facilities
  • Support site audits and regulatory inspections
  • Monitor process safety performance and report to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations across jurisdictions
  • Provide expert guidance across Region South Pacific and drive continuous improvement in process safety performance

What makes you great

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in process safety within regulated industries (AU/NZ)
  • Deep knowledge of MHF & Dangerous Goods regulations (AU/NZ)
  • Proven experience with HAZOP, LOPA, and risk analysis
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement & negotiation skills
  • Strong time management, autonomy, and leadership in safety
