The Opportunity: 

Looking for a casual job over the summer holidays? 

Join Downer Metering and help deliver essential services to your community. You'll walk through neighbourhoods recording electricity, gas, or water meter readings. It's a great way to stay fit, enjoy the outdoors, and earn extra income during the festive season.

This role is ideal for those who are:

  • Available to work through December and January
  • On a visa with valid work rights (e.g. Working Holiday, Student Visa)
  • Seeking flexible, short-term casual work
  • Long term options are also available

About You:

  • Hold a valid Driver's Licence 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet daily targets
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
  • Able to work independently and manage your time well
  • Have strong attention to detail and follow safe work practices
  • Willing to complete reference and police checks
