Driven to achieve and excited about playing a pivotal role in our ambitious growth agenda, we are looking for a Business Development Account Manager to promote and actively grow DBA's position across a portfolio of customers across NSW.

A typical day will see you visit and speak with a diverse range of customers including resellers, distributors as well trade & automotive specialty groups.

Your natural ability to establish credibility and be the voice of the customer, through your expertise and understanding of the industry will allow you to achieve and maximise growth building a strong pipeline of prospects across new segments.

Hands-on, and supported by an accomplished leader, you will showcase your technical aptitude and support the sales process with training and after-sales service, acting as a product specialist across the region.

Energetic and resilient, you will appreciate the autonomy to make this role your own, creating a pathway that reflects your capabilities and harnesses the commitment to customer value and service excellence.

As an industry professional you have established a strong reputation for delivering results and developing mutually beneficial partnerships across a competitive market. You are commercially inclined and possess a strong sense of ownership, always ensuring that you provide a solution that is aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience in a relevant commercial/technical sales role in a B2B environment
  • Trade or formal qualifications in a related discipline (Mechanical/Engineering) desirable but not essential
  • A proactive and strategic approach to developing and securing new business
  • Resilient, passionate value-add attitude and eager to contribute
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solution focused and commercially apt, with experience in pricing frameworks, managing tenders, and contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce (CRM) preferred
  • Ability to manage and handle product as required
  • Willingness to travel as needed within AU (as required)
