About the opportunity on offer:
The responsibilities of a Vital Health Speech Pathologist include, but are not confined to:
- Assess and design person-centred intervention services and therapy plans for various presentations across the lifespan, including but not limited, to speech, language, literacy, feeding, dysphagia as well as neurodiverse affirming therapy
- Collaborate with other allied health professionals (occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians & psychologists) and local primary healthcare teams to achieve client goals within base clinic and outreach location/s
- Prepare and present information sessions for educators, parents and/or other professionals
- Work with our team of Allied Health Assistants to improve access to therapy in remote locations
- Provide services under the NDIS – including assessment and management of AAC
- Actively engage in weekly multi-disciplinary case conferences for complex NDIS clients
- Drive rural health change and community education through participation in events and thought leadership on social media in Speech Pathology
- Consistently track client progress during treatment, and adapt the approach as necessary to develop results
- Creating comprehensive reports that summarise findings and outcomes for communication with multi-disciplinary team members and stakeholders for complex cases
- Contribute to internal PD in areas of interest, dependent on experience level

Who Vital Health is looking for:
- You possess 3+ years of experience managing a clinical caseload
