Shelter Supervisor - Full Time
Join our dedicated and passionate team at RSPCA NSW as a Shelter Supervisor in our Animal Operations department. You will lead and oversee the daily operations of our Coffs Harbour Shelter, ensuring a high standard of care for all our animals and exceptional customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills to manage and guide your team, including Animal Attendants, Customer Service Officers, and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a diverse team, including training and performance management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across various shelter areas and ensure compliance with policies
- Coordinate adoption and surrender processes and manage customer interactions
- Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained
- Prepare and manage operational data and reports
Qualifications & Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience in leadership and animal handling
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and WHS practices
