Maxcool refrigeration is a business in south east suburb of Melbourne. Our main business is making custom stainless commercial coolroom, freezer and fridges. With the rapid growth of our business, a full-time metal prefabricator is sought to join our dynamic team.

As a Fabricator you will be involved following jobs:

• Reading and understanding job requirements
• Verifying dimensions and job requirements
• Selecting, and preparing metal stock
• Marking cutting lines on material
• Fabrication of metal products, including welding, cutting, rolling, folding
• Joining metal sections, and ensuring all required parts for assembly are present
• Examines welds for the width of bead, penetration and precision.
• Ensuring quality control standards are met
• Testing/ checking products for their functionality and quality to minimize problems or recalls
• Reporting and detailing product malfunctions
• Cleaning, smoothing, and polishing to avoid accidents

• Knowledge of VIC local standards and processes – local authorities and contractors.
