Your new career

The Community Recreation team is responsible for the operational management of sport and recreation facilities across the Surf Coast Shire. In this role, you'll support the team at Wurdi Baierr Stadium, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users.

What you will bring to the role

We're seeking a dedicated and organised casual cleaner to help keep Wurdi Baierr Stadium in top condition during weekend hours, outside of regular operations. You'll play an important role in ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and ready for the community to enjoy.

To thrive in this role you will have:

• experience in facility cleaning, ideally within a multi-court stadium or similar environment
• knowledge of specialised cleaning equipment, chemicals, products and procedures.
• strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• a commitment to safe work practices and adherence to established cleaning processes

Key selection criteria

Mandatory qualifications, experience, and requirements

• Ability to undertake commercial cleaning and outdoor labouring duties
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Understanding of OH&S
• Current Victorian driver's licence
• A current Working With Children Check
• You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia
• Police Check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).
  
  A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.
